The Weekly Drop-in Class is your chance to have some fun, meet our fantastic instructors, and dip a toe into the Westside Comedy Theater Training Center. The Drop-in Class is every Saturday from 12-2PM.
Instructors lead the students in warm-ups, exercises , and scenework to build your confidence, work on some scenes, and give you a taste what our Training Center has to offer! If you sign up for a class at the end of your workshop, you’ll get $100 of your class!

Dive into the world of character creation. This course focuses on developing strong, dynamic characters through emotional commitment, physicality, vocal choices, and relationship. Learn to embrace your characters’ quirks, secrets, and point of view in order to bring your scene to life!
By the end of IMPROV 201, you will have the tools to create well-rounded, memorable characters and a stronger sense of confidence and play on stage. Through commitment and specificity, students will gain the confidence to make bold choices, even in high-pressure situations.

Master the art of recognizing, isolating, and heightening patterns within scenes. Building on the foundations of IMPROV 101 and IMPROV 201, this course focuses on collaborative shows, within a long-form structure.
By the end of IMPROV 301, you will have a strong grasp of initiating and heightening scenes, working off character-driven points of view, & following the fun through various patterns—emotional, physical, verbal, and more! Skills that set you up for success on stage & in everyday life. This class provides a space for exploration, experimentation, and deepening the collaborative nature of improv.

Throughout IMPROV 601 we will work on mastering high-level moves like smart edits, sharp walk-ons, confident tag-outs, and seamless support — all while deepening your character game, point of view, and scene specificity.
