Stand-Up classes
Stand-Up 101
In this first level of Stand Up Class, students will work on discovering their own comedic sensibility and shaping that into a clear and unique point of view.
While using material from their own lives, as well as observations from the world around them, each student will leave this level with an understanding of the basics of writing and performing stand up.
This 6-week course concludes with a class show for your friends and family!

Stand-Up 201
After completing Level 101, students will work with their instructor to get beyond the basics of performing stand-up.
In level 201, students will focus on generating material, finding out what works, and building their material into a 7 minute set.

Stand-Up 301
In Stand-Up 301, students will expand their sets from 101 and 201 into a polished 10-minute set for a final showcase performance.
As we work towards this goal, students will receive multiple performance opportunities to refine their material, including:
Two guaranteed spots on our Tuesday Open Mic during the course.
One 5-minute spot on either the Friday 8PM or Saturday 8PM show. (Sets will be recorded by the student and reviewed with instructor feedback during the following class)
Additionally, students will receive a recording of their final showcase set, along with detailed performance notes to support their continued growth as comedians.
*Admittance into the course is by instructor approval. Please click HERE for more info on the upcoming session & to submit for approval. Once approval is given, students will be emailed a link for purchase and will have 48 hours to sign up for the class.

Best standup class I have taken
I’ve taken both Stand Up 101 and 201, and Chris’s training and guidance left me feeling immensely more confident and comfortable on stage compared to the start of my comedy journey.
