As a child, Ryan was very shy and quiet, until he saw his cool older brother on stage as a deer in the musical “Snow White.” From that point on, Ryan decided he was going to be just as cool and joined Riverside Children’s Theater, never to look back. As a kid, Ryan would stay up to watch SNL, which inspired him and his friends to make their own taped sketches. Unfortunately, his family had to endure hours and hours of mind-numbingly long videos that made little-to-no sense.
When Ryan got older, he decided to step up his game and began studying improv all around Los Angeles at schools like the Groundlings, IO West, UCB, Nerdist, and now at Westside. What started out as a fun thing to do in his free time became a passion for the art form of improv. He continues to write, study, and perform comedy as much as possible, hoping one day to be cast as a deer.
You can watch Ryan performing with his team, The Dallas Liars Club, every 2nd and 4th Monday here at the Westside Comedy Theater.
