Sonia Ulrich was told to take an improv class in order to do voice over work in the Late 90’s – she was doing traffic reports on the radio in San Francisco at the time. After her first class at Comedy Sportz in San Jose, CA, she was hooked. She continued to study improv and acting after moving to New York: UCB, the PIT, Improvolution and Magnet Theater for improv and acting at the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company. She’s performed in many shows and plays on both coasts and even started dabbling in stand up after moving to Los Angeles. Sonia has been on several teams at various theaters (Knuckle Sandwich, Ghost Party Orchestra, Uno, etc), and is currently performing with “Consenting Adults” at WCT every week. She also plays soccer, rides her motorbike and takes waaaay too many pictures of her dog.
