Ryan Timmreck took his first improv class on a lark at the newly opened Mi’s Westside Comedy Theater in 2009. Since then he has performed on house teams COBRANAUTS and SMOOTH PLUTO produced puppet improv darling NEVER BEEN FIST coached 2015 house team tournament champions AIR FORCE FUN and served on the theater’s advisory board. His filmmaking team swept Westside’s inaugural 48-hour film festival with their entry IT ALSO FOLLOWS and he currently performs in the IMPROV DIARY SHOW and THUNDERBULGE. Ryan grew up in Alaska, holds a bachelor degree in physics, and credits improv with opening his heart and keeping him creepily preserved for ever and ever. He is a producer/editor, filmmaker, and occasional actor & model. He has laughed in a Chevy commercial and been immortalized in oil as the enigmatic subject of artist Rikki Niehaus’ celebrated series “Swedish Landscapes.”

Jeff Michalski
JEFF MICHALSKI worked in comedy clubs across the country with the Original Comedy Ranger and was a member of the Groundling in Los Angeles before settling with the Chicago Second City in 1980.
During his years with the Second City, Mr. Michalski studied with Paul Sills and his historic Story Theatre. While traveling the country with Second City’s National Touring Company he continued training with Second City founder Paul Sills, and artistic directors Del Close, Fred Kaz and Bernie Sahlins.
In 1984 Michalski and his wife, Jane Morris, founded theSecond City ETC. His directorial debut , “Cows on Ice” made the ETC an instant hit and was followed by the even larger success of “Mirrors at the Border”. His achievements brought him to the Second City Toronto where he was nominated for a Dora Award for his direction of “Who’s Tory Now?” Michalski continued as director and Artistic Director of the ETC until 1988 when his success in Chicago led him to be chosen as director of the premiere production of the Second City in Santa Monica, also a critical success.
While still in Chicago with the ETC, Michalski also helped found the Second City Training Center, a comprehensive training program from which the next generation of Second City players are chosen. He also founded the Second City Training Program in Santa Monica.
Mr. Michalski and Ms. Morris founded the Upfront Comedy Showcase in 1990, and The Comedy Underground in Santa Monica in 1998. He is currently teaching people from all walks of life to improvise at the fanaticSalon in Culver City.
Andrew Ghai
Andrew Ghai is an actor and host based in Santa Monica California. Andrew can be seen as the lead in the upcoming sci/fi horror film BLOODY EYES, directed by award winner Rafael Nani. Headlined by the feature, his 2017 has been littered with other work, including a role in WOMAN ON THE EDGE to air later this year on the Lifetime Movie Network as well as starring in the thriller DIE TRYING. In 2015 Andrew created Action Movie Anatomy, an intensely popular weekly Popcorn Talk vodcast, of which he has hosted every single episode. Heading into Summer 2017, the show has recorded over 15 million total views on youtube, with millions more audio downloads in its 100+ episode catalogue.
Ali Davis
Ali Davis is an alumna of The Second City’s national touring company and of both iOs, even way back when the theater was called the other thing. Her book, True Porn Clerk Stories, started as an Internet sensation and has made getting normal jobs difficult ever sense. Ali’s full-length play, Speak Now, premiered at the Lounge Theatre last year. Drop a hat and she will tell you about it. When she’s not obsessing over something nerdy, Ali writes for websites like The Dart, Bitter Empire, and Wonkette.
Randall Harr
Randall has improvised at the IO Theater, the Annoyance theatre, and the Second City in Chicago. Randall also spent two years in Amsterdam performing at BOOM CHICAGO! James Heaney
James Heaney is a comedian/actor/musician/improvisor/teacher. He is the former YouTube personality for GameFront creating content such as; “The MineCraft Show” “James VS Games” and ” Honest Game Trailers”. Currently, he is the creator/host of Brief News Brief on Youtube. James performs at colleges across country as a member of Mission: IMPROVable Tourco. Additionally, James is performs in Bear Supply, a fast pace longform improv team. He teaches classes and workshops for both team building and improv. On top of all that, James is also a commercial actor and can be seen on TV in multiple national campaign ads.
Sean Monahan
Sean Monahan is a Chicago-trained actor, improviser and teacher, having studied & performed at The Second City and iO (formerly ImprovOlympic). Sean is one of the owners of M.i. Productions, the parent company the Westside Comedy Theater, and spent years traveling the country performing with Mission IMPROVable. He currently runs Westside Corporate Creativity, the theater’s corporate training/entertainment arm. Sean and his wife Betsy are raising a talented little child actor who already has a better resume than his father.
Al Garcia
Al Garcia has been involved with the WCT for over a decade as a student/performer and is currently on the faculty. He has taught drop-in classes, workshops, and coached multiple teams… he incorporates both traditional and unconventional approaches to improv, with an emphasis on fun and mutual respect. Al’s graduate work involved topics including anxiety reduction and neuroplasticity in the brain, which he also applies to the world of teaching and performing. Finally, he is a consultant and life coach for his business model called Unconventional Solutions.
