Deidre was born and raised in New York just northwest of the city. It’s not upstate. I know, everyone thinks anything that isn’t the city is upstate, but the Hudson Valley is like one of the southern most parts of the state. Deidre lived approximately 20 minutes away from New Jersey, so that proves it — not upstate at all. When Deidre was little she and her older brother, James, would sneak watching The Simpsons; she accredits a great deal of her humor to both James and Matt Groening. Anyway lots of boring stuff happened her whole life, and now she lives in LA and is trying to figure out what the hell it’s all about.
