The Big D: A Comedy Matchmaking Show for Divorced Singles
Divorced? Separated? Consciously Uncoupled? Teetering on the edge? Divorce-curious? Looking to date a divorced human? Then this is the show for you!
How it works: A panel of comics, all in various stages of divorce themselves, will invite six divorced bachelors and six divorced bachelorettes from the audience up on stage. After a brief hilarious interview with each contestant, the comics will match six couples. Each couple will have a mini speed date with prompts created by our comics. At the end of the speed dates, the audience will vote for the best couple. The winning couple will win $100 to go out on an actual date. At the end of the event, there will be a half hour free style mixer for all the singles to mingle, and everyone is fair game at that point – even the participating matched up singles. A QR code will be available for folks to reach out and virtually ask the people they saw on stage for a date. And most importantly, there will be comedy – so much comedy. So you may not leave with your soulmate, but you will leave with stronger more defined abs from knee-slapping tear-inducing laughter. And, a feeling that we are all in this together – searching for love on the back half of life, a crazy-making occasionally amazing amorous adventure.
