A native of Northern California, Jen Burton is a graduate of the UCLA Theater Department and trained with The Groundlings and UCB in Los Angeles. She wrote and performed for two years at Boom Chicago Comedy Theater in Amsterdam, and was a staff writer for the company’s television show “Comedy Central News,” produced by Comedy Central Holland. She is a member of the sketch comedy group Lost Moon Radio, and has been a cast member in (what she conservatively guesses is) billions of improv shows in comedy theaters around Los Angeles (including Westside Comedy, Second City, iOWest, and UCB). She’s been a member of Mission Improvable for a nice long time, and plans to stay a member until she dies comfortably in her sleep at the age of 97. She has developed comedy pilots with NBC and ABC, and has worked as a staff writer on several television specials. She’s also dabbled in stand-up, and deeply enjoys writing about herself in the third person.
