Description: Standup comedy from Cracked.com
Host: Ben Blanchard - Craigslist Casual Encounters
Adam Tod Brown
Adam Tod Brown: Adam Tod Brown is an editor and columnist at Cracked.com. He believes he can fly. He believes he can punch the sky. You have seen his work on websites all across this great land (Cracked.com, Playboy.com, The Smoking Jacket.com) and slightly fewer comedy clubs (Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, The Stand in NYC, a shitty open mic in Santa Rosa).
Ben Blanchard: Ben Blanchard is a distracted writer, soulful lover, single child of divorced parents, living in Santa Monica. He's good at honesty, but better at lying. He often ponders if he will ever discover truth. If he was granted one wish, it would be to make chocolate chip cookies nutritious. He can be found posing with strange Southern tourists doing his best Sacha Baron Cohen impersonation.
He doesn't have a type, but after a few drinks he'll admit "women". He loves reggae music and isn't ashamed to burn Babylon down. When he isn't writing comedy, he's scouring the web for the latest conspiracy theories. He's pooped his pants in his adult life and is a recovering pre-mature ejaculator, but does relapse periodically...One day at a time...
Rob Christensen: Rob Christensen is a Los Angeles comic from Brooklyn, NY. He's been a skateboarder, rapper, graffiti artist, and drug dealer; but, failing at all of that lead him to comedy. Rob's inexcusable behavior as a kid helped him develop a sharp, smart, and urban sense of humor. Rob is the 2013 winner of the WESTSIDE STANDUP SHOWDOWN in Santa Monica, CA.
In 2012, Rob wrote and starred in a TV pilot titled LOW LIFES and was passed as a regular at the ICE HOUSE and the HOLLYWOOD IMPROV. He's performed at the EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL, IO WEST SCRIPTED COMEDY FESTIVAL, AMFM FEST, WESTSIDE COMEDY FESTIVAL, BOSTON COMEDY ARTS FESTIVAL, and COMEDY CENTRAL’S UP NEXT TOUR.
Rob loves bagels, DMX, and Wu-Tang Clan. Check him out at www.BrooklynRob.com or watch him in QUICKLAFFS on HULU.
Morgan Jay: Morgan is a comedian, writer, and actor based out of Los Angeles. He studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Art. He's acted on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and MTV. He has been featured in the 2009 Palm Springs Film Festival and the 2010 First Run Film Festival. He also performed at the 2010 LA Comedy Festival and headlined at the 2010 Iowa Comedy Festival. He's had his jokes quoted in the NY times. He recently won this years Westside Comedy Show Down in Santa Monica.
JC Coccoli: Hello there. JC Coccoli is a comedian born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA to an Italian-Russian family. She began performing at the Pittsburgh Playhouse at the age of 9 before her acceptance into the Point Park Conservatory Theater and Dance school and a summer study program at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her BA in English Writing and Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Central Florida while starring in a nationwide television show for The WB entitled Big Man on Campus.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, she began touring as a stand-up comic performing at the LA improv, Laugh Factory and underground alternative venues (super hip). She was soon cast in a co-starring role for a FOX comedy pilot entitled Skyler's Revolution from the Executive Producer of Charlie's Angels and We are Marshall.
In 2006, she was hired as a comedy writer for THE WB, MTV, and VH1. She has written for actors and comedians that have appeared on Late Show with David Letterman, Chelsea Lately, CBS's Big Bang Theory, VH1's Best Week Ever and Late Night with Craig Ferguson. Her television appearances include G4, MTV, VH1, and WB. In 2009, she began editorial work for 944 Magazine which shifted to avid blogging for a site entitled Healthy Bitch Daily from the co-author and creator of the NY Times Best Seller Skinny Bitch.
Every Monday night she runs one of the hippest comedy rooms in Los Angeles Keep it Clean @ Public House http://www.laweekly.com/events/keep-it-clean-comedy-829945/ and presently resides in Venice Beach, CA where she embraces the serenity of yoga and continues to observe the hilariousness of human beings. Okay, bye!
