Description: Shaun Boylan, Joey Greer, Jordan Bull, Morgan Christensen and James Heaney doing improv!

Bear Supply is a fast-paced sketch and long form improv team.

Shaun Boylan: Shaun Boylan is an American theoretical comedian who developed the theory of general improv, effecting a revolution in comedy.  For this achievement, Boylan is often regarded as the father of modern Comedy.  Boylan is generally considered the most influential improvisor of the 21st century.  While best known for his mass–laugh equivalence formula E = haha2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most hilarious equation"), he received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Comedy "for his services to theoretical improv, and especially for his discovery of the "law of the laughter effect".  Boylan has published more than 300 comedic papers along with over 150 non-comedic works.  His great comedic presence and timing have made the word "Boylan" synonymous with genius.

James Heaney: James Heaney first trained as an improviser studying at Chicago’s Second city in the late 1990’s. Several years later, while studying theater at Colombia College, James was given the opportunity to assistant teach the Improv 101 class taught by Brian Posen. In this same period of time, James joined Low Sodium Entertainment. LSE was an improv company directed by Aaron Habor that performed sold out, late night Wrigleyville shows, and several touring shows. In 2002 James moved to Los Angeles to begin his own Improv troupe, The Original Understudies, of which he directed and performed with for five years in the West Los Angeles area. James first began studying at the Westside when it was still the Eclectic, with teachers such as Jeff Michalski. He continued to study at after Mission Improvable took ownership of comedy west of the 405. His studies would bring him together with his most influential teachers such as Annie Hoff, Mike Betette, and Lloyd Ahlquist. James has refined his improv skills with the guidance of Lloyd, who coaches the WCT house Team James is currently on, Team X. James is very proud of this enormously talented team that has earned him the opportunity to perform in festivals as far north as Seattle, and south as Austin.

Morgan Christensen: Morgan hails form the northern reaches of the California wilderness and has been spreading his own brand of comedy and genius around Los Angeles for the past three years. He draws upon scores of life experiences from Wildland Fire Fighting to Office Management, to bring emotion and realism to both Improvising and Acting. He is a current member of the Westside Comedy Theater Developmental House Team: Bitch Mode.
