Level 1 IMPROV - FUNDAMENTALS

Level 1 IMPROV is a fun and exciting introduction to the art of improv comedy. This class will cover the core principles, ideals, concepts and vocabulary of improvisation. The goal of M.i.'s Westside Comedy Training Center is to create a warm, fun and safe learning environment that cultivates knowledgeable, well-rounded performers armed with the skills to succeed as working improvisers. Improv is one of the most important tools to have as a performer. It teaches you to tap in to your unique sense of humor and to trust your natural instincts. You'll also learn to relax and gain confidence speaking in front of people which translates to improved success in auditions, on stage as well as in your everyday work and social life.

Classes meet once a week for three hours and are six weeks long. There is a student performance at the end of the session.
