Ed Galvez has been doing stand-up since moving to LA in the Summer of 1998. Ed got his start studying at UCB, IO West, Second City, ACME, and The Groundlings. Ed has written and performed in many sketch shows, and can be regularly seen performing with his improv team Pangea, as well as doing stand-up all over the country. Ed also performed his one man show "Love Life Limb" at top comedy venues all across the country. Ed has appeared in numerous national and local commercials, MTV's Paris Hilton's My New BFF, and was featured in The History Channel's documentary History of the Joke hosted by Lewis Black.
Currently Ed co-hosts The Fort Podcast (www.thefortcast.com) with Mike Costantini & Kevin Ford and is the host of his weekly show "The Ed Galvez Punk House," at M.I.'s Westside Comedy Theater, where every Wednesday he features national headlining comics, underground heroes as well as the best up & comers. is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actress living in Los Angeles, CA. With the recent release of her Netflix Special, ALI WONG: BABY COBRA, Ali became the first comedian to record a stand up special 7 months pregnant. Ali co-stars in the new ABC comedy, “American Housewife,” premiering this fall.
After SF Weekly selected her as “The Best Comedian of 2009″ and the SF Bay Guardian awarded her “Best of the Bay,” she decided that it was finally time to depart her hometown. In 2010, Comedy Central listed Ali Wong as one of 7 “Comics to Watch.” In 2011, Variety Magazine named her as one of the “10 Comics to Watch,” and Ali appeared in the 2011 and 2012 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, QC.
Since then, Ali has performed on “The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno”, “John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show”, and “Late Night With Seth Meyers”. She also appeared in Oliver Stone’s film, Savages and was a series regular on NBC’s “Are You There Chelsea”. In 2012, Ali hosted the Golden Globes Live Coverage on E! You can often catch her as a guest on Comedy Central’s @Midnight
and on Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer.” She recently appeared in Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow’s hit film Trainwreck and is currently a writer on ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat.”
