Eve Weston

Eve Weston 1 Photo

Eve Weston performs monthly in two comedy shows around Los Angeles: Instant Friends, improvising all-new episodes of the sitcom Friends based on an audience suggestion; and RedFlag, a house team at Westside Comedy Theater, presenting a brand-new sketch show every month. She’ll also perform stand-up if you ask nicely.

It’s possible you may have seen Eve on YouTube’s Part-Timers or NBC’s The Megan Mullally Show, but it’s more likely you recognize her from the picture to the left. Most of Eve’s work in comedy has been written. Eve is writer/executive producer of a musical web series for AwesomenessTV, she developed the multi-cam pilot The Fast Track for ABC Family, and she’s written episodes for ABC's Better With You and Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, where she also wrote the song "Funky Hat Dance," which became a YouTube sensation with more than a million views. Tweens internationally uploaded videos to YouTube of themselves and their best friend doing the dance, which is how Eve learned that the German translation of “funky” is “supercooler.” Eve has also written two stories for Disney XD’s Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja and contributed jokes to a bunch of sitcoms that she’s foolishly choosing not to name-drop.

If you were wondering whether Eve writes song lyrics: yes. She’s written a comedic Hanukkah song, a rap about green tea, and two fifteen-minute musicals. She also won a Southern California Journalism Award for Humor/Satire Writing.
